Alone

I actually have been writing a lot more poetry recently, so here is another poem for you today. I hope you guys enjoy! I should have an art post soon!

Alone

The ticking of the clock

A hollow, haunted drum

The wind drags it’s fingers

Across the window pane.

A flock of ravens drift

Over the evening sky

To rest, mid dormant branches

A single, somber caw.

The black puddles on the streets

Reflecting as I walk

The blinking lantern light

My footsteps like a bell.

The single face

In the endless crowd

The sound of silence

Echos loud.
